The springs really made a huge difference. I actually hated the vague floaty-ish handling of the OEM set-up. The springs along with the 255/40 19 Michelin tires have transformed the car from awful to awesome handling wise.
I got these for my P+ with sport susp, 19" wheels. Took it to the shop and were installed no issues, it was the first B9 they did but said similar to B8.5. Ride height and feel are great, hit some moderate speed bumps, no issues. I'm happy!
Installed the Dynamic+ lowering springs on my car. Before I got the springs on my car, I was expecting the car to look weird after it was lowered, since I'm running stock 18"s with non-sport and I realised that 19"s look really good lowered whereas I wasn't sure about how the 18"s did. I was also expecting the ride quality to reduce (even though I did read people say it was as good as stock). Boy. Was I wrong.
My car doesn't look weird, atleast, in my eyes. Yes. 19s would definitely look better but I'll stick to the stock 18s for now. The car is now noticeably low (it used to look like it was on stilts before). I didn't measure the height before I gave my car in (stupid mistake on my part).
But the best part about the springs is the ride quality. I was running stock non-sport suspension and with the 034 springs, car feels just as comfortable, if not better. Nothing has become worse. There are quite a few railway crossings near where I live and I could cross over them at the same speeds as I could, before. I feel potholes and manhole covers just like before. I was expecting the car to be stiffer and stuff but no. I was wrong.
I can comfortably carry more speed into corners now. I didn't push it enough to check for under- or oversteer but yes. It feels safe. Car feels much more stable at high speeds than ever.
My wife and father-in-law were following me in the X3 and they said the car looks better now and looks like it was hugging the road. While we were nearing our house, my wife took over and she said it feels as comfortable as it was before. She was happy that ride quality was the same.
