The 034Motorsport Street Density Dogbone Mount Pair for the Volkswagen & Audi MQB And MQB EVO is manufactured from 65 durometer rubber - as opposed to the factory part's 55 durometer - and features a steel thread insert in the upper mount for increased resistance to stripping threads.
This upgrade is compatible with our full line of MQB drivetrain upgrades, and offers decreased drivetrain movement, crisper shifting, and reduced wheel hop, with minimal noticeable increase in noise, vibration, or harshness (NVH) inside of the cabin.
We strongly recommend replacing the subframe bolts with new stretch bolts included in the Front Subframe Hardware Kit for Audi 8V/8V.5 A3/S3/RS3, Audi 8S TT/TTS/TTRS, and Volkswagen MkVII Golf/GTI/R.
NVH is the measurement of how much noise, vibration, & harshness gets transmitted into the cabin of your vehicle. Based on user feedback, 034Motorsport Street Density Dogbone Mounts (Pucks) transfer low to medium amounts of NVH to the cabin. NVH changes may be more noticeable in vehicles equipped with a DSG or Tiptronic transmission and/or if your factory engine/transmission mounts are worn or failed. We recommend the Street Density Dogbone Mounts at least 250 miles to break in after installation. NVH is subjective, so some users may find NVH to be increased or decreased from our rating. If you are experiencing higher than quoted NVH with this product, please evaluate the installation to ensure to components are touching each other and email techsupport@034motorsport.com for further assistance.

034Motorsport's Street Density Dogbone Mount pair for Volkswagen & Audi MQB And MQB EVO models sets the new standard in performance mount solutions. Designed with performance in mind and manufactured from high-durometer rubber for increased performance and durability, the Street Density Dogbone Mount Pair is a complete performance replacement for the factory rubber dogbone mounts.
The Density Line Dogbone Mount Pair is manufactured from 65 durometer rubber - as opposed to the factory part's 55 durometer - and features a steel thread insert in the upper mount for increased resistance to stripping threads. This kit includes a new OEM dogbone mount bolt.
This upgrade is compatible with our full line of MQB drivetrain upgrades, and offers decreased drivetrain movement, crisper shifting, and reduced wheel hop, with minimal noticeable increase in noise, vibration, or harshness (NVH) inside of the cabin. (Please Note: NVH changes may be more noticeable in vehicles equipped with DSG or Tiptronic transmissions, and/or if your factory engine/transmission mounts are worn or failed. We recommend giving the mounts at least 250 miles to break-in after installation.)
High-Durometer Rubber vs. Polyurethane:
Density Line Mounts are manufactured from high-durometer rubber instead of polyurethane for a number of reasons. While vulcanized rubber mounts are more expensive to prototype due to increased complexity of manufacturing and high initial tooling costs, rubber is inherently better than polyurethane as a damping medium for mounts and bushings.
Rubber is able to deal with stress under both tension and compression, while polyurethane mounts rely on the damping medium to be effective only under compression. Rubber is also excellent in shear, where polyurethane is ineffective, making it ideal for control arm bushings that apply a shear force to the bushing during articulation.
Rubber does not pack and wear like polyurethane does, which ultimately results in a long-lasting part with consistent performance and comfort.

Installation:
- Installation of these mounts requires removal of the front subrame and the use of a press to remove and replace the dogbone mounts. For this reason, we recommend taking your vehicle to a reputable Audi/Volkswagen specialist for installation.

Whether you’ve purchased through 034Motorsport or one of our Authorized Dealers, your Density Line Drivetrain Mounts are covered by this Limited Lifetime Warranty. When you think your mounts need replacement or have experienced a mount failure, reach out to the 034Motorsport Technical Support team at TechSupport@034Motorsport.com for assistance! Once the warranty process has begun, place an order for the replacement mounts and send us the damaged/worn mounts. Once we receive the damaged/worn mounts, you'll receive a store credit rebate for the replacement mount against the MSRP of the original mount order.
The 034Motorsport Density Line Drivetrain Mount Lifetime Warranty covers all Density Line Engine & Transmission Mounts with normal wear & tear or manufacturing defects. Engine & Transmission mounts that exhibit minimal wear, signs of abuse, or that were not installed properly may not be covered. While we want all customers to be able to take advantage of the Lifetime Warranty, those who abuse the Density Line Lifetime Replacement Warranty or act in bad faith may be disqualified at our sole discretion. We want to ensure that this Program remains fair and accessible to all customers. The Density Line Drivetrain Mount Lifetime Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser. This warranty program does not cover Density Line Suspension components which are wear and replacement items.
