The installation of your 034Motorsport Billet Aluminum Front Sway Bar End Links for the B5/B6/B7 Audi A4/S4/RS4 & C5 Audi A6/S6/Allroad is a relatively simple process that will take approximately 30-40 minutes to complete. These installation instructions were written using a later B6/B7 chassis vehicle, and notes are included for the B5 chassis, which uses longer lower end link bolts (supplied) and two extra nylock nuts (also supplied).

• 16mm Wrench
• 15mm Wrench
• 13mm Wrench
• Torque Wrench
• Ramps, Lift, or Jack & Jackstands

Step 0 – Raise the vehicle securely on jackstands, ramps, or a lift, in order to gain access to the factory front sway bar end links. Make sure you have all tools necessary for installation of the new sway bar end links. Give yourself a pep-talk in front of the bathroom mirror, reinforcing the fact that you are an expert enthusiast with a mechanical aptitude second only to Charlie Sheen’s. For good measure, take a selfie while you’re at it.
Step 1 – Assemble the 034Motorsport Billet Aluminum Spherical Front Sway Bar End Links & Spacers as pictured below. Identify which lower end link bolts are needed for your vehicle. The B5 chassis uses the supplied M10x55 bolts and M10 nylock nuts. The later B6/B7 and C5 chassis which have the lower end link bolt thread directly into the sway bar will use the supplied M10x50 bolts.

Step 2 – Using the 16mm wrench, remove the lower end link bolts from the front sway bar end links. On B6/B7/C5 cars, the bolts thread into the sway bar. On the B5, the bolts go through the sway bar and are secured by locknuts.

Step 3 – Using the 16mm wrench, remove the upper end link bolts from the front sway bar end links. If needed, you can use the 13mm wrench to counter hold the nut on the other side.

Step 4 – Remove the factory front sway bar end links. Pat yourself on the back; you’re halfway done! With the stock end links removed, the 034Motorsport Billet Aluminum Spherical Front Sway Bar End Links can be installed using the supplied hardware. You’ll need a 16mm wrench for the supplied bolts and 15mm wrench for the supplied locknuts.

Step 5 – Set the factory sway bar end links next to your shiny new 034Motorsport Billet Aluminum Spherical Front Sway Bar End Links. Look at how much more awesome they are!

Step 6 – Install the 034Motorsport Billet Aluminum Spherical Front Sway Bar End Links with the lower bolts in first, with the supplied washers between the bolts and end links. On B6/B7/C5 cars, the supplied M10x50 bolts thread directly into the sway bar. On the B5, the supplied M10x55 bolts go through the sway bar and are secured using the supplied M10 locknuts. Make sure to use the correct length bolt for your vehicle to ensure proper thread engagement!

Step 7 – Install the supplied M10x65 bolts through the lower control arms and the tops of the end links, with the supplied washers between the bolts and control arms. Secure the bolts using the supplied M10 locknuts.

Step 8 – Torque sway bar end link hardware to 70 Nm and marvel at your work!

Step 9 – Lower your vehicle from the ramps, jackstands, or lift. Drive it. Enjoy the improved handling!
