034Motorsport Solid Rear Sway Bar, B6/B7 Audi A4/S4/RS4 Quattro & FWD, Adjustable
034Motorsport is proud to offer the ultimate rear sway bar upgrade for the B6/B7 Audi A4/S4/RS4! The 034Motorsport Adjustable Solid Rear Sway Bar is made from high-quality spring steel for maximum rigidity, and is designed to combat understeer while reducing body roll under hard cornering.
This product was tested thoroughly on the street and track on our shop B7 Audi A4 2.0T FSI Quattro before release. The 034Motorsport Adjustable Solid Rear Sway Bar substantially reduces understeer and body roll on B6/B7 Audi A4/S4/RS4 Quattro vehicles without compromising comfort on the street.
In addition, the 034Motorsport B6/B7 Audi A4/S4/RS4 Rear Sway Bar is engineered to be used effectively with the stock front sway bar. No upgrade in the front is needed or required. The addition of a stiffer front bar introduces even more push, requiring an even bigger bar in the back. With the stock front sway bar and upgraded 034Motorsport Solid Rear Sway Bar, body roll is virtually eliminated while turn in and off throttle oversteer are greatly improved.
I installed the rear sway bar this past weekend. I'm not one that reviews often but I had to with this. I haven't even been able to drive the car much, around 65 miles, but the difference from just standard driving is great.
I haven't gotten the chance to really push the car but just look at the difference between the stock and 034motorsport rear sway bar. They should put a pic of that on their website.
Installed fresh updated stock end links and set it to the softer setting. Car felt better but wasn't that impressed. Changed it to the stiffer setting, made all the difference, made everything feel better in the corners. It's a lot more balanced and confidence inspiring in the corners.
Well, after seeing the RS4 RARB was just as expensive, if not more, than this one, getting this was a no-brainer. And it has definitely been worth every single penny. By far the best upgrade i've done. The car handles a lot more neutral and balanced, and even though you are not improving power, you will certainly be quite a lot faster around everything that's not a perfect straight.
Fitted the parts to my 3.0 TDI Quattro.
Very impressed with the total package, Quality components engineered to take a beating and come out smiling, Well designed with maintenance in mind and the rod end bearings look strong enough to be be mounted on a small truck.
Push has been totally eliminated and handling is much more neutral and predictable.
Ordered the parts Monday Night and received them Thursday morning 2 days delivery to Australia is just Awesome!
Well Done Guys!
With stock Sport suspension was not please with the amount of understeer (lots and lots). I added an S4 rear sway bar, and that was a nice improvement, but still understeered. My son bought a 2003 Saab 9-3 and after driving the Saab (front wheel drive, all stock base model), I was really disappointed in the A4 handling: still way too much understeer.
So I did a quick search, and the 034 RSB popped up with good reviews. Nice quality part and brackets. It took less than an hour to install (with stock end links), and made a big improvement. Much less understeer, body roll and improved turn in behavior.
I got this bar and the matching end links during the most recent Group Buy on Audizine. I read all of the positive reviews, but I was still blown away by the difference this bar makes! It's a very simple install, too.
I'm not sure how much the end links matter in terms of handling, but I didn't want to deal with the headache of having the stock ones break. They look like they are really well made, and fit perfectly.
