Wake up that sluggish 20v! This package picks up where our Stage 1 tuning left off. Gone are the flow restrictions of the stock MAF. We have cnc machined a new billet piece that allows you to install your stock sensor into it, with a vastly improved flow range, while retaining very precise metering abilities. Abolutely no wiring changes required for this upgrade.
This chipset is a direct upgrade for the stock 7A engine. Substantial power gains in the midrange and on the upper revs which were previously chocked down breathing through the tiny stock MAF. This is the exact same MAF housing we use in our 7A turbo kits, and is by no means maxxed out with a stock 7A. This means you will have the ability to take advantage of any engine mods done to your car and still let it all breath and run properly if you have a stroker kit, or aftermarket cams, exhaust, etc.
This kit includes the new mass airflow sensor housing, high-flow direct fit silicone inlet hose.
An HKS Shallow, high flow filter element (which is a direct, precision fit on our Billet MAF housing), is an optional item. The MAF inlet is 80mm and will accept many common aftermarket filters.
We have software for both the early (2 connector) and the later (4-connector) ECU. Select your ECU type at the bottom before checkout.
- If your ECU is already socketed, then we can ship you the Chip Tuning Package to install yourself. Please note that this requires desoldering and soldering of sensitive electronic components.
- If your ECU has not been socketed, you'll need to arrange to ship your ECU to us for installation. There is a $45 charge for this service. If you ship your ECU to us, we can turn in around within 24 hours and ship it back to you using the shipping method of your choice.
